Biography

Valeria is a legal assistant at the Wilson Law group. She was born and raised in Ocala, Florida. She has both Colombian and Lebanese descent. Her diverse background has made her curious and open to discovering new cultures. Throughout her life she has lived in Ocala, Florida; Washington, DC; Paris, France; and Bogota, Colombia. She recently graduated from a master’s in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action at Sciences Po’s Paris School of International Affairs. During her master’s degree, she lived in Paris for two years, where she learned about topics such as international humanitarian law, migration, gender, and diplomacy. In addition, she did her undergraduate degree at the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. During this time, she majored in international affairs and minored in sociology. Throughout her formation, she has always been passionate about social justice and making a direct difference in each person’s life. For this reason, she is eager to help many individuals and families secure a better future here in the United States.

In her free time, she loves to spend quality time with her loved ones whether it be a game night, watching a movie, bowling, or just dancing. She also loves to travel and explore new places.
