Yilianny Mendez-Villamil Garcia

Yilianny Mendez-Villamil Garcia is a legal assistant with Wilson Law Group. Yilianny was born in Cuba, where she earned her Law degree from the Universidad de La Habana. She later move to Mexico and completed a Master’s degree in business administration from Instituto Polit?cnico Nacional, broadening her legal expertise and strengthening her analytical and research skills. Her academic experience across different legal systems has shaped a thoughtful, well-rounded, and globally informed perspective.

As an immigrant herself, Yilianny understands the courage and determination it takes to begin again in a new country. Having navigated uncertainty and adaptation firsthand, she deeply appreciates the resilience and hope that define the immigrant journey. This lived experience allows her to connect with families not only professionally, but on a human level — with empathy, patience, and authenticity.

She believes the law should be more than a system of rules; it should be a pathway to dignity, security, and opportunity. Guided by integrity and compassion, Yilianny remains committed to supporting families as they build safer and brighter futures.

In her free time, she loves spending quality time with her family and enjoys exploring Minnesota’s beautiful nature.
